18 Dec DREMC meets with legislators, presents ACRE support
Duck River EMC employees met today with our legislators to present ACRE (the Tennessee Action Committee for Rural Electrification) contributions and discuss cooperative issues. ACRE contributions help support those state political leaders – in office now and running for office – who will speak for and protect the interests of electric cooperatives and their consumer-owners.
The meeting was held in Centerville, TN, in conjunction with Meriwether Lewis EC, who shares some of Representative Michael Curcio’s state house district with DREMC.
