01 Dec TVA plans 12/10/17 outage for Mt. Pleasant area in Maury County
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has scheduled a brief power outage for DREMC members served out of the Mt. Pleasant Substation in Maury County. This outage is necessary for TVA to perform system improvements within the substation.
The outage is scheduled for 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning, December 10, and will last approximately 30 minutes. Those affected by the outage are all Duck River Electric members who reside in the following areas:
Mt Pleasant community, Mt. Joy Road, West Fork Road, Joy Road, Dry Creek Road, West Sheepneck Road, Enterprise Community, Elk Ridge, Terrapin Branch, Preacher Holt, Highway 166, Golf Club Road, Gibson Hollow, Roy Thompson, Cross Bridges Community, West Point Road, Hampshire, Old State Road, Taylor Store Road, Cathey’s Creek, Highway 412, Cecil Farm Road, Booker Farm, and the Booker Ridge communities.
DREMC appreciates the cooperation and understanding of our members during this planned outage as we strive to improve the reliability of the electric system. In the event of inclement weather, the outage will be rescheduled for another date.
